My head is swimming with boats

And they are all either: the wrong price, the wrong size, not trailer-able, or located in Canada, Sweden, or the East Coast.

Here are some of the new visions that I count when I can't get to sleep.

The Californian 30' with or without the fly bridge, this is a a beautiful boat, probably a great size, LOTS of light, and available (3 of them) in Hawaii.

OMG - a custom beauty 26' and Aluminum ! and in Vancouver ;-(

And a Fales Seeker - never heard of this boat, its available in Florida - Brian really loves those double enders but I'm not feelin' the love

A Lake Erie Trawler we probably looked at it just because of the name and she's gorgeous - and comes with a price tag to match

And finally the Albin which is beginning to seem like an old dog that follows you home from school everyday insisting that you are the perfect owner (and then goes to sleep on your front porch).  Whether its the 27' or the 25' Brian keeps sending these to me

A Boat from Finland !

We found what we believe is "the" boat.  We are researching what seems to be a rare custom boat from Finland.  I don't know if we will find one on the west coast.  We've found a few in Virginia, Maine, and Mississippi.  We would love to find out more about the manufacturer, the broker that imported them in the 80's (we don't know how many were brought to the U.S.), and anything else.  The research continues.....
But here is a bit of info and some photos to show you why we are so in love.

The dimensions fit our Loop criteria almost exactly!
LOD: 30, LWL: 26, Beam: 10’, Draft 3’ – 6”

And from the photos you can see it fits the "wife requirements" (photos are from several boats that we've found, some for sale, some not)
